I would like to say that I am incredibly talented and motivated enough to write a bunch of tutorials for the Foundry.
However, I am not.
What I am willing to do though, is find some solid websites and other portals that give useful information to beginners, and even more advanced users of the STO Foundry. Also, I would like to have a place where fleet members can discuss their own ideas, thoughts, and frustrations about the Foundry and its interface.
The most useful website I have found thus far for the Foundry is:
starbaseugc.com/
This is the home base for this website’s many pages of information about the Foundry. From what I have seen there are both written and video blogs that contain useful tips and tricks to a more in depth use of the Foundry tool for anyone that would like to take their missions to the next level. Across the top navigation of the home page you will notice the heading NOOB GUIDES. These pages are overflowing with tasty tidbits of Foundry insight.

As for other websites and their usefulness I found a few others.
startrekonline.com/foundry_video
This is STO’s video blog site for Foundry information. I have to admit that I did not tour as many of these videos, but most of the ones I watched were either a link to starbaseugc.com, or a user (?) created tutorial, both were linked through www.youtube.com.
For a very basic view of the Foundry, through STO’s website, you can go to:
www.startrekonline.com/foundry_learn
Here you will see a basic walkthrough of the controls, buttons, and windows. This does not answer all the program nuance questions that will come up when you actually try to create a story with the Foundry tool.
To be completely honest with you, most of the other pages are links to YouTube videos, I assume these are made mostly by Foundry User’s, and some are made by the people at starbaseugc.com.
Now if you were to ask my opinion, I would tell you that STO’s Foundry pages are not as helpful as starbaseugc.com. The reason for this is that UGC has a plethora of blogs, video logs, and interviews with STO creators, that are sound recorded and then video animated. The clips are both informative and comedic in some instances, as this group does some fun stuff with STO character’s and environments.
I will eventually write a few things out that I feel would go under the forum pages.
