Members of the Starfleet Reserves have created a role playing team named the Starfleet Resrve's Force Recon. More info can be found here: sites.google.com/site/starfleetreserveonline/home/000redacted000. For this team I have began writing Captain's Log. Before I post it I do want to say that as we move along in the game these will improve. So without further ado I present L.T. H.M. Murdock's Captains Log:
Captain's Log Stardate 90023.52 After a quick shore leave on Risa, I step off the transporter pad and out into the hectic mess that is Earth Spacedock, I kept thinking to myself that all my goals in life are finally starting to come true. As I walk to the Admirals Office where I meet the rest of my new team: Lieutenant Sirati T'Vor, a quiet but deadly Vulcan whose logic rivals Tuvok's; Lieutenant Rosemarry Prower, a tough Caitain Warrior from the Terran empire; Lieutenant Temora, another Caitain whose bad side you defiently want to avoid, and Lieutenant Tyren, whom I believe is still a Cardassian Spy although people tell me otherwise. After we met and assigned each other call signs Admiral Quinn gave us our first mission. We were sent to rescue the S.S. Azura, a civilian freighter. We warped into the system to see the Azura under attack by corvettes and two Ravager Dreadnoughts. After sustaining damage we finally managed to destroy them. Next we beamed onto the Azura to rescue the crew. After fighting Orion thugs and saving injured crewmen we managed to meet up with Captain Brott and the rest of the crew. I had to go put a shield around the Warp Core to save the Azura. After furiously working to save the ship we had to escort the crew pass more thugs and back to the transporters. Back on our bridges we were engaged by a Maurader Battleship and another Ravager Dreadnoughts. Finally after another battle the Azura was finally able to escape the battle.
After Successfully completing our first mission as a squad we were then assigned to Vulcan to escort Ambassador Sokketh from Vulcan to P'Jem. Once we arrived at Vulcan we flew a shuttle down to the planet to pick Sokketh up because he is apparently scared of transporters. After listening to Sokketh argue with High Priest Savin because the priest denied him the opportunity to visit P'Jem we were all getting annoyed with Sokketh's drama. Finally Sirati steeped in and convinced Savin to let him go, finally we were on our way to P'Jem. Warping into P'Jem was a problem, there was an entire Klingon raiding party waiting for us. They kept telling us there was a shapeshifter on board our ship. I tried to explain to them that I was no threat to them but they wouldn't listen. After a massive engagement we finally were able to beam down to the planet. The situation on the planet wasn't much better either, the Klingons were killing everything in sight. After securing the monastery we received a message from T'Pela informing us that Sokketh's remains were found on Vulcan. All of a sudden the fake Sokketh beams down in front of us and reveals himself as an Undine agent and tells us about his plan to replace the leader on P'Jem. We attempted to chase him, but he quickly shapeshifted into a Klingon captain and orders the remaining Klingons to attack us. After a long drawn out fight we finally got to a safe location to beam back to our ships. Back in space we were quickly engaged by an Undine cruiser, luckily we were able to send out a subspace message which was quickly received by the U.S.S. Kirk and a small task force in the area. They immediately responded to our message and helped us defeat the Undine ship. We gathered all the data from the ship that we could and sent the info back to Starfleet for analysis.
